Abel Solutions was initially contracted to design, develop and implement an integrated technology system including a high-speed Wi-Fi network with advanced user authentication protocols, a cloud-based video monitoring and display system, a secure, keyless access system, and much more. Over the course of the project, however, the project scope grew, with Abel Solutions also providing vendor management assistance in addition to extensive post-go-live support.
“At BridgeMill, we had five players on the IT side, and when system problems arose it became a situation of determining which service provider was causing the problem,” said Manor Lake Vice President of Construction Thomas (Tom) Kane. “The Abel Solutions engineer would help us figure out which provider’s equipment was causing the issues. They became a one-stop shop for us.”
The second Manor Lake development, in Gainesville, Ga., is already well underway. There, Abel Solutions is also providing vendor selection assistance and post-go-live support in addition to its project design, planning and implementation services. “The support that we provided and continue to offer for Manor Lake at BridgeMill is standard operating procedure for us,” said Abel Solutions Vice President Scott Burba. “Our success is reflected in our clients’ achievements.
