Position Title:
Senior Developer
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Summary of Duties:
Serve in a hands-on role as a development engineer for client engagements. Work independently and on project teams focused on delivering business solutions to customers. Apply technical expertise with the Microsoft technology stack, object-oriented programming languages, and cloud-based technologies. Work with a team typically in an Agile methodology completing development and coding initiatives. Adapt to new client environments and learn new technologies quickly. Execute all implementation aspects of projects from design specifications, solution development, testing, documentation, and support. Assist with development of client-specific technical deliverables. Create unit test plans for developed solutions and resolve issues that are identified during execution of said plans. Troubleshoot solution defects and provide solutions to address. Adhere to company-defined development methodologies, toolsets, and standard operating procedures when development client solutions. Review and approve code for other team members (e.g., offshore).
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in software development or a related occupation.
Requires experience with the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REACT .JS; SharePoint Framework development and deployment; interacting with SharePoint using CSOM and REST; creating and executing PowerShell to perform tasks in SharePoint and Microsoft 365; SQL; commonly-used open source or third-party SharePoint tools such as those from Microsoft, Layer 2, or ShareGate; assessing client requirements and contributing to the design of appropriate architecture for the solution; systems development lifecycle methodologies and frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. Must have certifications in Office 356 and SharePoint.
